PROSCI Prosci has a history of being an organization that guides Change management research. The first study was carried out at 101 organizations, in 1998.
In the last 10 years, the number of participants has grown tremendously to about 426 organizations worldwide in the fifth research of 2007. The 2009 study was recently completed. This is the first study that integrates the data and findings of earlier years, to provide a consistent and reliable reference for professionals. Every following study provides Prosci with a stronger and more culturally based database. This is made possible by adjusting the material based on a specific culture, while the universal character of Change management, and how this influences organizations, is understood. Prosci’s broad studies (about 2000 participating organizations) incorporate some of the biggest organizations, worldwide:
- NASA
- Motorola
- Symantec
- United Nations
- HP
- Intel,
- US department of Defense
- Aflac
- University of California
- Kraft
- Standra Bank Group
The large number of participating organizations, make the study results reach both the public and private sector, including the academic perspective on change.
Since the ADKAR model and PROSCI’s Change management process entered the market in respectively 2000 and 2002, the use of PROSCI tools has increased so fast that 66% of the Fortune 100 are now using Prosci instruments and 3000 Change management professionals have been trained and certified to teach the Prosci methodology.
